In the past, when I joined a company as an interim CEO, the first thing I did was speak with every employee.
The industry was new to me. But as I listened to the team, I felt that the company had the potential to change dramatically.

Based in Silicon Valley, Koji Tokuda has been involved in management support, overseas expansion, business development, IT consulting, and venture support across Japan, the United States, and Asia.
He has served in CEO, CFO, and COO roles, and has been deeply involved in management control, business restructuring, overseas subsidiary operations, new business development, sales development, and administrative systems.
He was the founding CEO of a university spinout, which later achieved a NASDAQ listing. He also has experience as the head of U.S. subsidiaries of major Japanese companies, as well as in IT consulting, overseas business support, investment, and business development.
He graduated from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tokyo. He continues to study AI, data science, and business strategy through programs such as MIT’s AI strategy program, the MIT Statistics and Data Science MicroMasters, and the University of Texas Post Graduate Program: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: Business Applications.
